Certified as per Starbucks C.A.F.E. Practices, these Kenyan AA unroasted green coffee beans boasts a pronounced chocolatey body balanced with a cherry sweetness. Established in the mid 1920’s by British settlers, the Pearless estate is among the oldest and largest coffee plantations in Kenya. This estate earns its bragging rights for only growing the most-prized and complex SL 28 and SL 34 Bourbon varieties, a rarity in Kenya as farmers grow more disease resistant hybrids.

The farm is located in Nyeri County, Kenya's most revered coffee region and  currently produces 40 tons of coffee annually. This quality-focused coffee estate  operates with a keen sensitivity to quality, and social and environmental awareness. The estate is committed to high worker standards and trains all employees on good farming practices, and advanced safety and processing methods. In 2017, the estate received its CAFE certification for its leading sustainable farming practices.
